Dr Roxi treating one of her patients

Why Choose Dr Roxi?

If you’re thinking about stepping into the world of aesthetic treatments, it’s not always easy to know where to start. The truth is, this industry can be a bit overwhelming. No regulation. A lot of noise. Plenty of promises. That’s why who you choose to trust matters more than ever.

I’m Dr Roxi, and here’s why I do things differently.

My Path to Aesthetics

I qualified as a doctor in South Africa back in 2010. Straight out of medical school, I found myself drawn to surgery. For five years, I worked in general surgery and found myself dealing with burns more often than not. It was intense. Challenging. Deeply human. That path naturally led me to work further in plastic surgery, still focused on burns and scarring, where I could not only treat trauma but begin to restore confidence.

After relocating to the UK, I continued working in plastic surgery. But something began to shift. I loved the technical side, yes, but I couldn’t ignore the feeling that hospital life no longer fit who I was becoming, especially as I grew into motherhood. I needed more autonomy. More balance. A new chapter.

Aesthetics allowed me to carry my surgical skillset into a new space where precision still mattered, but so did relationships, lifestyle, and the long game. I’ve been working in aesthetics for nearly six years now, gradually stepping back from hospital shifts and leaning fully into clinic life.

Why I Chose This Work

For me, aesthetics isn’t about chasing trends or creating overdone results. It’s about working with what’s already there, preserving what’s natural, protecting the integrity of the skin, and helping each person feel confident in their own face.

I wanted a career where I wasn’t just fixing problems after the fact. I wanted to help prevent them. Slow things down a bit. Make people feel more like themselves again. Especially women, many of whom feel forgotten by mainstream beauty standards as they get older.

This work gives me the freedom to lead with care and clarity. To use my hands, my surgical eye, and my sense of balance. And, most importantly, to create space for women to feel seen.

What I Value Most

Great skin is the foundation of everything I do. It’s your canvas. If we can get that right, then everything else becomes optional, not essential. I’m a strong believer that makeup should enhance your skin, not cover it.

I don’t believe in aggressive filler techniques or obvious work. I take a much softer approach. That’s why I favour treatments that support the skin’s structure gently, whether that’s subtle dermal filler or non-invasive skin tightening options for those who want results but prefer to avoid injectables.

Ageing gracefully is the goal. Looking fresh, not frozen.

I’m here to offer guidance, not pressure. Many of my patients come to me nervous. They’re not sure what they need, they just know they want to feel like themselves again. That’s the space I hold for them.

Why My Patients Stay

What makes all this worth it? The relationships. It’s not just about treatments, it’s about the trust that builds over time. Seeing someone walk in unsure and walk out glowing (inside and out) is the best part of my job.

I’ve walked alongside women navigating all sorts of life stages, peri-menopause, post-baby, post-divorce, post-burnout. We go on a journey together. No hard sells. No false promises. Just a shared goal of feeling a little more put together, a little more confident, every time.

Why Choose Me

In an unregulated industry, choosing a medical professional isn’t just smart, it’s essential. I have a decade and a half of hands-on medical experience behind me. I understand anatomy. I know how to manage complications. I prioritise your safety above all.

If you’ve ever thought, “I want to look refreshed, but I’m scared of looking fake”, you’re not alone. And you’re exactly the kind of person I love to help. You don’t need to overhaul your face. You just need a plan, tailored to you.

How I Work

My approach is structured, but not rigid.

We begin with a thorough consultation, no pressure, just a conversation. Soon, I’ll be introducing advanced skin analysis tools to get an even clearer picture of what’s going on beneath the surface.

From there, I’ll educate you about your skin. The ‘why’ behind what’s happening. The ‘what’ we can do to support it. And the ‘how’ we’ll get there together.

It’s not a one-off treatment. It’s a journey of small tweaks that make a big difference over time.

My A.G.E. Framework

This is the model I use in clinic:

Assess
Everything starts with listening. Your story, your skin, your concerns. I’ll examine, assess, and map out what’s going on, both at surface level and beneath.

Guide
Next comes the education. I walk you through your options. What will work. What won’t. I create a roadmap that aligns with your skin goals and your lifestyle.

Enhance
Finally, we make gentle enhancements that restore your features without changing who you are. It’s about support, not transformation.
